Demo Day is Thursday July 17!

Don't forget to invite your colleagues to come on Thursday, July 17 at 5:00pm at the Employee Connection to see a demo of the club.  The more the merrier!  If you recruit a new member and they stay for the entire 6 months, your club dues for the following 6 months will be waived!

The next annual picnic will be Saturday August 16 at Las Palmas Park. I will send out an Evite.  The picnic will be at Las Palmas Park.  You won't want to miss our chief instructor's BBQ meats and vegetables.

Testing and Awards Night

Don't forget to get your primary objectives signed off by your coach!  Reminder that the test dates are:

• Beginners: June 12, 5pm
• Intermediates: June 12, 6pm
• Advanced: June 16, 6pm
• Awards Night: June 12, 6pm followed by dinner

Next Beginner Class

We have a demo tomorrow at 5pm for the new beginners class.  We need volunteers - please contact Joe Frakes if you're interested.

Also, please tell your colleagues about our club and encourage them to join.  The next beginners class starts with a demo on Thursday and begins Jan 14 - June 27.  The flyer is here: http://hanmookwan-svl.org/all_doc/misc/TKD_flyer.pdf.  Remember, if they complete the beginners class, your next session's fees get waived!

Saturday Session

We have a Saturday session THIS Saturday.  Come at 9:30am to get in an extra workout and get any help you need with what you're working on.  And, Raj wants to spar!  Great opportunity especially if you missed Monday's sparring session.  Testing is only a little over a month away!

Testing Dates

We have the dates for testing!  Please mark your calendars. As the date draws closer you will need to fill out a form.

• Beginners Testing: December 5, 5pm
• Intermediates Testing: December 5, 6pm
• Advanced Testing: December 9, 6pm
• Awards Ceremony: December 12, 6pm

Refresher Class

Have you been missing TKD?  Feel like you need a refresher before launching back into class?  Good news - you can come in on Mondays or Thursdays for 5-6pm.  Please contact Joe Frakes if you're interested.
