Testing is Coming Up!!!
Here are the test dates:

• December 9 – Beginners starting at 5pm followed by Intermediates Testing at 6pm. Be warmed up and ready to go!
  
• December 13 – Advanced Testing. Intermediates, please note that class will be held in the stretching room that evening.
  

You should have a test form filled out by now if you plan on testing. If you don't, then get one filled out and make sure we know you plan to test. For information on the club testing and promotion requirements, see HMKTKD-P6.

For review of any hyung or basics that you might need reminders on, don't forget there is this resource online: http://www.hanmookwan.org/art_form_references.htm.

Saturday Session
We will be having a Saturday Session THIS SATURDAY starting at 9:30am on December 4. This is a terrific chance to get some last minute work in for test night!

Awards Night
The Awards Ceremony will be on December 16 at 6pm. After class we will be heading over to Sunny Buffet for dinner at around 7:20pm (map).The price of dinner was included in your club dues, so you have no excuse to not come out and celebrate with us! Feel free to invite your significant other (~$13).

Next Beginners Class

The next beginners class will begin January 10, 2010. Start telling your co-workers! Please print out this flyer and post it outside your cubicle or on any authorized bulletin boards. If you refer someone and they stay the full session, you can get your dues waived the following session.

Fun Run!

The 13th Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk and Festival to benefit The Second Harvest Food Bank is on Thursday, September 23 from 10am - 1pm. Every year we do a demo of Tae Kwon Do at the outdoor festival. This is a good chance to show your co-workers what it is you do and recruit some new people. It's also a great way to get some extra practice in. If you're interested in helping out, please let me know!

A's Game

September 25 or 26 (1:05, vs. TEX) -- Cheer on the A's from the comfort of a private, 18-seat suite while you watch out-of-town football and baseball games on TV. Each suite features 5 televisions, a private restroom, and 3 VIP parking passes - all for only $500! That's right, a private suite with all the amenities for only $500! That means if we get 20 people, that's only $25 each! Let me know if you're interested. If we get enough interest, we can reserve a suite. Thank you Fred for the suggestion.

This year's club picnic will be at Las Palmas Park on Saturday, August 21. Yummy BBQ, good times, hopefully some sangria and maybe even a little Bocce Ball! You will definitely want to attend. Feel free to bring your spouses, kids, and friends. Kelly cooks up some great meat, just bring a side to share! You should have received an Evite in your email. Let me know if you did not.

Testing is right around the corner. By now, you should have your primary and secondary objectives signed off if you have any from your last test (if you don't, you better talk to your coach). Make sure you get the help you need to prepare for testing. DVDs of past tests are available, just ask one of the officers if you would like to check one out.
