January Club News

Congratulations to those of you who were promoted at the Awards Night!

IMPORTANT EMPLOYEE CONNECTION UPDATE
Some renovations are taking place at the Employee Connection. For this week (1/5-1/8) class will be in the B/163 stretching room. After this week, the area outside the auditorium is being renovated so we are no longer able to enter class from the main entrance of the building. We will need to enter the auditorium from the back entrance next to the volleyball court. Signs will be posted to make sure you don't get lost.

Stretching and warm-up should take place in B/164 in the stretching room. We also will not have access to the restrooms in B/163 so please use the locker rooms in B/164 to change. Shoes should be worn in between buildings (we suggest bringing a pair of slippers/flip-flops).

Beginners Class
Recruit your friends and co-workers for the next Beginner Class which starts Monday, January 12. If you refer someone and they stay the whole session, your club dues are waived for the following session.

December Club News

Testing!!!
The Beginner and Intermediate test night will be this Thursday, December 4. Beginner testing is at 5pm. Intermediate testing is at 6pm -- be warmed up and ready to go! Don't forget your sparring gear. Black Belt Testing will take place on Monday, December 8 (no intermediate class).

Awards Night
Awards night will be during Intermediate Class on Thursday, December 11, followed by the awards dinner at Sunny Buffet. The cost of dinner was included in your club dues for this past session. Price for guests is about $12.

November Club News

Sparring Night!!!
This Thursday is sparring night. Please remember to clip your finger and toenails and bring your (clean) gear! And don't forget to wash it afterwards.

Saturday Session
This month's Saturday session will not be this Saturday but the following one on November 8. Come for an extra workout! It's a good chance to work on techniques before testing which is coming up...

Testing Dates
The Beginner and Intermediate test night will be Thursday, December 4. Black Belt Testing will take place on Monday, December 8 (no intermediate class). Awards night will be during Intermediate Class on Thursday, December 11, followed by the awards dinner.

Election Night
We will be having an election on November 24, 2008
