December Club News

Testing is tonight!
Beginner and intermediate testing is tonight! No regular class.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the Employee Connection will close at 5pm. We will have to change and warm up in B163. If you are not actively testing, please warm up in the "treadmill" room.

Upcoming Dates
Dec 8th Beginners/ Intermediates Testing
December 12- Advanced Testing
December 15th – Awards ceremony at 6pm; Dinner at 7:10pm at Sunny Buffet. All club members (who paid their dues) are invited to the awards night. Feel free to bring guests (cost of dinner not included for them).

Test Videos
I uploaded videos from the last test (June 2011) onto something called Dropbox. I invited the majority of you active members. If you would like access to them and haven't already received access, please send me an e-mail and I will invite you.

Also, I will be posting these on YouTube as private videos accessible only to those who have the link (no one will be able to find your vide). If you object to having your video posted, please let me know.

Mid-November Club News


Sparring Night
Sparring will be THIS Thursday since next Thursday, our regular sparring night, is Thanksgiving (and there will be NO class). Come with a clean uniform and your nails trimmed.

Test Videos
I uploaded videos from the last test (June 2011) onto something called Dropbox. I invited the majority of you active members. If you would like access to them and haven't already received access, please send me an e-mail and I will invite you. Also, for those of you who do have access and were wondering where the files disappeared to, they have now been restored so you can retrieve them once again.

Testing
If you plan to test next month, please fill out a test form starting next week. If you have primary objectives from your last test, get them signed off ASAP. Remember, they are your responsibility to take care of.

Call for Nominations
We are calling for nominations for a new club Vice President. If you would like to nominate someone or yourself, please e-mail Todd Lilly. We will vote in Intermediates class on November 3.

Saturday Session
THIS Saturday from 9-12. Come and work out and get ready for your test. And, if you want a copy of your test from last time, come with a USB stick. Otherwise we'll have another way for you to get your test.

August 13 is the Annual TKD Club Picnic at Las Palmas Park in Sunnyvale 11:30am, Area 1. If you didn't receive the Evite invitation, let me know!

The next beginners class session is July 11. Start recruiting your friends and co-workers to join the club. We need at least six people to participate to have a beginner's class.
