Testing is Coming Up VERY VERY SOON!

Testing is right around the corner, so make sure you have your primary and secondary objectives signed off (if you have any from your last test) and you are asking your instructors for any help you might need to prepare for testing. DVDs of past tests are available, just ask one of the officers if you would like to check one out.

Test dates:

• Black Belts Test: June 7
• Beginners/Intermediates Test: June 14. Beginners testing starts promptly at 5pm. Intermediates should be warmed up and ready to go at 6pm.

Awards Ceremony and Dinner will be on June 17. Location TBD.

Club Picnic - Mark your calendars!
This year's club picnic will be at Las Palmas Park on Saturday, August 21. Yummy BBQ, good times, hopefully some sangria and maybe even a little Bocce Ball! You will definitely want to attend.

We will be holding class again after the holidays, resuming January 4. The next beginners class will begin January 11, 2010. Don't forget to tell your co-workers! Please print out this flyer and post it outside your cubicle or on any authorized bulletin boards. If you refer someone and they stay the full session, you can get your dues waived the following session.

Mid-December Club News

No Class Tonight!
Tonight is black belt testing. Come back on Thursday.

Awards Night
Congratulations to those of you who tested!

The Awards Ceremony will be this Thursday, December 17, at 6pm. After, we will be heading over to Sunny Buffet for dinner at around 7:20pm (map).The price of dinner was included in your club dues, so all of you have no excuse not to come out and celebrate your progress over the last 6 months with us! Feel free to invite your significant other (~$13).

Sparring Night
Monday night, December 21, we will be having a sparring session since December's sparring night falls on Christmas Eve. Bring your sparring gear and your clipped finger and toenails!

Next Session

December Club News

Testing is Coming Up!!!

Here are the test dates:

• December 10 – Beginners starting at 5pm followed by Intermediates Testing at 6pm
  
• December 14 – Advanced Testing (no Beginners or Intermediates Class)
  

If you want to test and can't make the test date, please talk to Kelly ASAP and have your test rescheduled. If you plan on testing and haven't filled out a test form, you must fill one out on Thursday.
